Job Title: Generative AI Technical Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Generative AI Technical Architect to lead the design and development of cuttingedge AI solutions across our organization. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant technical roles with strong Python programming skills and a deep background in AI/ML (especially in generative AI). In this role you will combine technical expertise and creative problemsolving to architect innovative applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced generative techniques. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams applying system design thinking methodologies to ensure our AI solutions are usercentric and impactful. This is a handson leadership position: you will guide and mentor an engineering team while still actively contributing to development and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Develop Generative AI Solutions: Design and implement the technical architecture for applications that leverage generative AI and LLMs ensuring scalability performance and security.
- LLM Integration: Integrate Large Language Models into new and existing products (e.g. conversational agents intelligent assistants content generation tools) and develop endtoend applications that harness LLM capabilities.
- Advanced AI Techniques: Explore and implement advanced generative AI approaches such as RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) to enhance knowledge retrieval building agentic AI systems that can reason and act autonomously and finetuning foundation models for specific use cases.
- Handson Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and data scientists providing technical guidance and code reviews while remaining handson with programming (primarily in Python) and system design.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers designers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI innovation. Apply design thinking principles to iterate on solutions that effectively meet user needs and business goals.
- Proof of Concept & Innovation: Conduct proofsofconcept and rapid prototyping with emerging AI technologies and frameworks to evaluate their potential value. Stay uptodate with the latest research and integrate promising techniques into the AI roadmap.
- Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for AI solution development including coding standards model evaluation MLOps (CI/CD for ML) and documentation of architecture and algorithms.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex AI architectures and concepts in clear terms to executive leadership and nontechnical stakeholders. Champion the adoption of generative AI solutions by demonstrating their value and aligning them with business strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 8 years of handson experience in software engineering machine learning or related technical roles including significant experience architecting and building AIdriven solutions.
- Python Proficiency: Expertlevel programming skills in Python with the ability to write clean efficient code and build prototypes as well as productiongrade systems.
- AI/ML Background: Strong foundation in artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms with proven experience in generative AI (e.g. natural language processing generative models transformers).
- LLM Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and integrating them into applications. Experience developing applications or services that utilize LLM APIs or frameworks (such as GPTbased models) for realworld use cases.
- Generative Techniques: Handson experience with advanced generative AI techniques for example implementing RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) pipelines developing agentbased AI solutions (CrewAI Langgraph Autogen etc) and finetuning pretrained models to adapt them to domainspecific tasks.
- Design Thinking: Experience applying design thinking or humancentered design methodologies to technology projects. Ability to empathize with endusers define pain points and iterate AI solutions that are intuitive and impactful.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams or projects while remaining deeply involved in development. Excellent teamwork skills and the capacity to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable presenting ideas architectural designs and complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (Masters or PhD preferred or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in one or more industries (e.g. finance healthcare ecommerce etc.) and insight into how generative AI can address industryspecific challenges.
- Advanced Degree: A Masters or PhD in Artificial Intelligence Computer Science Data Science or a related discipline.
- Cloud & MLOps: Experience deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (AWS Google Cloud Azure) and familiarity with MLOps tools/practices for model deployment scaling and monitoring.
- Research & Innovation: Publications research contributions or opensource projects in the AI/ML domain. Active participation in the AI community and staying current with the latest advancements.
- Consulting/Client Experience: Experience in a consulting role or working directly with clients to deliver AI solutions (demonstrating the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions) is a plus.
What We Offer
