Job Description
Starting Rate of Pay: $17.82/hr CAD
Job Duties Include:
As a General Cook the care you devote to food and workspace preparation will result in the creation of truly spectacular fare. In this role you will support the hotel by:
- Assist in the production and execution of all food items for a la carte and or banquet menus according to hotel recipes and standards
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas utensils and equipment
- Ensure compliance with hotel EHC policies and hotel standards
- Have full knowledge of all menu items daily features and promotions
- Ensure proper labeling dating and storage of all items in the kitchen
- Other duties as assigned by CDP relevant to day to day operations.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in the culinary field an asset
- Understanding of knife use and safety required
- Completion of a certified foodservice handling course required
- Diploma or Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
- Valid Alberta drivers license an asset
