Job Description

As a HMaitred/Restaurant Host with Qantas Lounges by Accor you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience. Your warm personal attention provides a memorable first impression for guests of our restaurants and lounges making them feel welcome and valued.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Managers responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:             

  • Consistently offer a professional friendly greeting and engaging service
  • Understand the Servers tasks in the outlet
  • Assist in restaurant/lounges with F&B service 
  • Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
  • Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Have knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
  • Follow outlet policies procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Whilst technical experience is of importance to us to be considered for the role you will have the following:

  • A friendly customerfocused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive intuitive and efficient.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
  • Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
  • A high standard of grooming and personal presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. 
  • A positive team player and guestcentric mindset.
  • MUST have full working rights within in Australia
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts including early mornings late evenings and weekends.
