POSITION: Director Data Scientist

JOB DUTIES: Utilize advanced analytics machine learning and predictive modeling to identify trends risks and opportunities within the business units (customer experience procurement marketing etc.) Develop and execute datadriven strategies to optimize marketing spends procurement processes. Collaborate with business stakeholder & MT Engagement Leads to identify existing or new areas that can benefit significantly from advanced analytics Leverage simulation to support financial next best actions and integrate data science and machine learning techniques into existing analytics workflows. Communicate strategy and results to technical and nontechnical audiences. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders partners and internal clients. Manage business stakeholder relationships to drive action and value from data science insights Identify areas needed to upskill expertise by attracting new talent developing existing multidisciplinary talent (data scientists data engineers and business analysts) and/or implementing strategic sourcing partnerships. Stay abreast of market evolutions and dynamics regarding McKessons position in industry. 100% telecommuting allowed from any location in the U.S. 10% domestic travel required.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics Data Science or a related field and Five (5) years of experience in Business Analytics Business Intelligence Machine Learning or related occupation.
Applicant must have 5 years demonstrated experience in each of the following:
- Python to develop statistical and machine learning models;
- SQL to extract consolidate and manipulate data;
- R to develop statistical and machine learning models;
- PowerBI to visualize analytics and data science work via charts/graphs and tables;
- Tableau to visualize analytics and data science work via charts/graphs and tables
