Job Description
As a Director in the Middle Market Corporate Bank the individual will be responsible for providing client coverage to corporate clients to include leverage finance product services with a focus on mid and large capsized companies both private and public with annual revenues greater than $250MM. This role serves as the point person on the complete client transactional process including new client and deal acquisition financing idea generation documentation and closing the transaction. The Banker will be responsible for developing a strategy to ensure appropriate return on equity is achieved by crossselling the full suite of Capital Ones Capital Markets and Treasury Management products to their client portfolio. Additional responsibilities and duties as specified by manager and team.

Responsibilities:
Maximizing total product revenue and growth for clients within portfolio and sector and increase quality of revenue based on opportunity
Loan generation and growing exposure yearoveryear for portfolio and clients in sector
Prominent in the vertical as the recognized expert in corporate banking services respective sector.
Responsible for leading the corporate banking initiatives and efforts which includes reviewing and supporting relationships transactions and relative returns attending prospect meetings and working with both internal and external referral sources
Directs the activities for a specific corporate banking sector coverage product market etc. within a business unit
May participate in strategic decisionmaking outside their specific area.
Influences and is accountable for business matters of significance through partnership across multiple LOBs within the company.
Responsible for ensuring there is a reasonably attainable strategy for delivering appropriate return on return on equity
Advanced knowledge of industry market and products
Proven ability to develop nurture and monetize trusted advisor client relationships with senior executives
Leverage advanced analytical and technical skills combined with a problem solving skills
Communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely in a complex matrixed environment
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or military experience
At least 7 years of corporate banking experience
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 10 years of corporate banking experience
FINRA Licenses: Series 79 and 63

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago IL: $205400 $234400 for MMB Specialty Relationship Mgr IVCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
