Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking dedicated RNs for a potential opening in the Extended Care Unit at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston TX.

What Youll Do:
Provide nursing care in an extended care setting to chronically ill or aging veterans
Assist with ADLs mobility medication administration and supportive therapies
Participate in comprehensive care planning with interdisciplinary teams
Ensure safety comfort and dignity in every patient interaction
Participate in weekend rotation (one weekend per month)
Required Qualifications:
Current unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state
Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience within the last 5 years.
Current ACLS certification (AHA approved) experience in SICU IMCU CCU ICU Stepdown or ER preferred
Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
Geriatric medsurg hospice or longterm care experience a plus
