Position Overview
The Maintenance Crew Member is a fulltime yearround production role. The Crew Member spends most of the time in the field completing various landscape related tasks. This position works with a small crew under the direction of a Site Manager and often completes tasks with limited to no direct supervision.

DaytoDay Stuff
- Perform work requested by the manager in the timeframe requested to the level of professionalism expected by members of Team Perficut
- Duties include mowing trimming edging turf areas and blowing off hard surfaces/structures weeding planting cultivating cleaning raking cutting trimming wildlife management removal of trash and debris
- Adherence to quality and safety standards
- Demonstrate willingness to learn how to operate equipment and tools needed to perform daily tasks. This is an introduction to crewspecific equipment
- Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Communicate professionally with business partners (vendors clients) and internal employees
- Evaluate and report conditions that detract from the safety or aesthetic value of the property
- Perform justintime light maintenance on equipment as needed in the field
- Effectively communicate with manager and coworkers
- Accurately record hours worked on a daily basis
- Meet deadlines and follow instructions and expectations expressed by manager
- Snow and ice removal duties during the Winter
Characteristics Needed to Succeed
- Valid drivers license with eligibility to be added to Companys auto insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to acquire pesticide applicators commercial certification within 45 days of hire
- Demonstrated ability to process and follow instructions
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team
- Ability to learn how to use tools and equipment meeting operational safety standards
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal or written instructions
- Must be able to work in a safety aware environment
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Ability to work outside regular business hours as needed
- Prior experience helpful but not required

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing all day with the ability to be mobile throughout required work areas. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs. The employee will be required to generate up to 75 lbs of push/pull force when maneuvering various equipment/supplies. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee will be expected to work outside in all types of weather conditions; conditions include occasional extreme heat exposure due to natural climate. The noise level in each work environment will vary and could sporadically be loud.
