A bit about the job:
This role exists to lead and manage a team of underwriters driving profitable growth and delivering excellent service while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Youll be joining Avivas Corporate Property team which handles complex and highvalue commercial property risks. The team is responsible for underwriting new and renewal business managing broker and customer relationships and ensuring a smooth endtoend policy journey. As the Corporate Property Manager youll oversee team performance support development manage budgets and plans and handle complex technical referrals to ensure highquality outcomes.
Skills and experience were looking for:
A high level of experience in the London Property Insurance including underwriting risk assessment pricing coverage and setting of terms
Good customer service and complaint handling skills including communication and negotiation skills
Understanding of Avivas Global Corporate & Speciality products offered and an understanding of the regulatory aspects of writing commercial insurance
Good knowledge of the market its issues and dynamics including reinsurance
ACII qualification or progression towards preferable
