The Scottish Sensory Centre (SSC) is seeking a Qualified Habilitation Specialist on a Fixed Term basis until March 31st 2026.
This post is fulltime (35 hours per week); We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a noncontractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular oncampus working.
This post may also be offered as a secondment.
The Opportunity:
The Habilitation Specialist will provide advice and guidance to Local Authorities in the delivery and Habilitation Services to children and young people.
This includes developing and writing the practical components of an externally validated course for registration to become a Qualified Habilitation Specialist. The successful postholder will also plan and deliver high quality Professional Learning for school staff (teaching and nonteaching) as well as Habilitation Specialists and Habilitation Assistants
The salary for this post is 40497 to 48149 per annum.
