Job Description

The Project Development team is responsible for identifying designing developing and presenting forfinal investment decision projects eligible for voluntary carbon offset mechanisms which aim to:

  • Avoid/reduce carbon emissions (preservation of natural ecosystems REDD clean cooking etc.) and;

  • Create natural carbon sinks (afforestation/reforestation agroforestry mangroves other ecosystems etc.).

Within this division you will support the team in the different stages of project investment and in market analysis. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • First screening/review of new project opportunities included in Removalls projects pipeline (calls with partners risk analysis investment thesis etc.).

  • Supporting project developers in the collection and analysis of information related to the design feasibility and due diligence process of projects (e.g. bibliographic references database cartographic information carbon potential business plan impact socioeconomic and biodiversity etc.).

  • Contribute to the risk analysis of carbon projects in development

  • Participate in the development of documents (presentations memos etc.)for investment committees
