About the Role:
Working with a Federal Government end client they are seeking a skilled & detailoriented Performance Test engineer with handson experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner (Min 4 year experience)
You will be responsible to ensure scalability reliability and responsiveness of the applications under varying load conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements
- Identify critical test scenarios for load tests.
- Design performance test scripts using LoadRunner.
- Execute peak test stress test endurance tests etc.
- Monitor the system health during the runs using provided APM.
- Identify performance bottlenecks & work with Dev teams to resolve.
- Publish comprehensive & detailed reports to the client.
- Work in coordination with different teams.
- Mentor the other resources in the tea
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with LoadRunner (VuGen Controller Analysis etc.)
- Proficiency across different protocols Web (http/html) Web Services etc.
- Strong foundation & experience of the load testing concepts requirements gathering workload design & analysis test plan compilation scripting execution reporting bottleneck detection etc.
- Apt knowledge for system health monitoring proven monitoring experience.
- Understanding of software performance metrics and KPIs.
- A good understanding of systems in different terrain/platforms Cloud OnPremises etc.
- Nice to have ALMPC handson skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Team Player collaborative articulator
What is on offer:
- This is a contract position and can be based in either Sydney Melbourne Brisbane Canberra Adelaide or Perth.
Security Requirements:
To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
