Job Description
Job Summary:
The InHome Caregiver at Griswold is responsible for providing compassionate and professional care to individuals in their homes in the in the Cuyahoga County and Lorain County areas. This is a fulltime hourly position with a focus on the health and wellness of senior citizens As an individual contributor the InHome Caregiver will play a critical role in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and experience in caregiving. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED.
Compensation
The compensation for this position is between $18$22 per hour. Weekends pay the highest rates.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and assistance to clients including assistance with bathing grooming and dressing
Assist with mobility and transportation needs including accompanying clients to doctors appointments or running errands
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients including light housekeeping duties
Prepare meals and follow dietary guidelines
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Record and report changes in clients health or behavior to appropriate parties
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in caregiving preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
