What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant with a specialty acquisition policies and procedures in the federal government. As an Acquisition Senior Consultant you have the opportunity to provide significant input to optimizing the acquisition processes with the agency. As part of this effort you will help connect program needs to contracting office requirements by identifying standards processes metrics and tools that support the acquisition lifecycle.
What You Will Need:
Demonstrates a record of working in the federal acquisitions space and the ability to assess problems looking for creative and feasible solutions. Specific skills required include:
- A 4year degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of work experience
- Experience with federal acquisition lifecycles and the Federal Acquisition Register (FAR)
- Demonstrates proven success in a management consulting role supporting federal budgeting and acquisitionrelated projects
- Experience with data analysis and data visualization
- Demonstrates creative thinking skills and individual initiative
- Experience with delivering highquality client service in a fastpaced unpredictable environment
- Ability to use data to inform strategy problemsolve and make decisions
- Innovative mindset and intellectual curiosity regarding industry and academic trends
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proven ability to work independently
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing recurring deliverables
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Masters degree (MBA MPH MPP MHA MPA MSOD)
- Acquisition Certification (e.g. DAWIA FACC)
- Experience in public health and/or healthcare
