Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a MidLevel Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in El Segundo CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Integrates program customer product and inservice strategies into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies
Conducts risk issues and opportunities management
Manages supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance
Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
Prepares negotiates and leads all elements of the contract including negotiation strategies pricing and contract terms and conditions
Leads or participates in proposal analysis to fulfill customer and program strategic requirements
Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Communicates across functions and programs to manage risks issues and performance to plan
Participates in supply chain process improvement teamsand identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
3 years experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
Experience working both independently and in team environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Experience drafting negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
Ability to excel at unique problem solving and multitasking of urgent issues
Experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines
Work Location:
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
