About the role
Great opportunity for an experienced educator to join our dedicated and supportive education team.
Working full time your time will be spent educating staff across our Aged Care and Home Care streams. You will develop and deliver ongoing training and education to ensure safe highquality care is provided to our consumers.
The position is based at our Sydney National Office with flexible working arrangements available.
Travel and some overnight stays are required for this position.
Your main duties will include:
- Developing and delivering workshops training programs and activities across both Aged Care and Home Care sites.
- Promoting and assisting with skill and capability development.
- Evaluating training and education delivery resources to reflect clinical evidenced based best practice.
- Coordinating and delivering practical mandatory training requirements to ensure currency and compliance for staff.
- Undertaking competency assessments monitoring progress and providing feedback pertaining to education achievement or individual needs as required.
- Plan prepare and deliver short courses workshops blended learning programs and resources that align with targeted learning outcomes.
About you
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate clinical education.
- Highly developed interpersonal written and verbal communication skills along with high level ICT skills.
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 OR TAE40122)
- Unrestricted drivers license and willingness to travel with overnight stays.
- Covid19 vaccination unless assessed exempt.
