Description
Summary of Position:
To provide preventive and reparative maintenance services to a manufacturing facility.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment
- Works with line operators to perform work when it least interferes with production needs
- Identifies larger maintenance concerns and brings them to the attention of a supervisor
- Assist with Line Down diagnosis and repair
- Perform 5S duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance projects as assigned
- Assist mechanics as requested
- Perform basic repairs identified during preventative maintenance within guidelines
- Perform intermediate or advanced repairs under supervision
- Operate a forklift or other lifts within guidelines
- Material handling. May deliver/receive parts outside of the company
- Communicate with machine operators and supervisors on a regular basis
- Do not perform tasks/repairs that would impact operations or create a line down situation
