Salesforce Developer, Communications and Corporate Responsibility (CCR) Ops & Tech

As a Salesforce Developer in the Communications and Corporate Responsibility (CCRR) Ops & Tech organization you will work in a fastpaced technical team solving complex problems with significant greenfield opportunities. Each new team member has the opportunity to shape the way the team operates. Our team works across several core initiatives ranging from helping internal customers better access and understand the impact of Amazons communications efforts across the globe to building and owning Amazons largest publicfacing information platform.

We are looking for a developer who wants to join a team developing and maintaining Salesforce applications that support editorial workflows and content delivery. You should be a seasoned Salesforce developer with experience designing/building products at meaningful scale and be comfortable owning endtoend deliverables. This is a role where initiatives frequently move quickly from limited customer interaction to immediate significant usage.

Youll be a leading voice in our team for reviewing peer design and code. Youll be actively encouraged to experiment improve invent and innovate on behalf of our customers. An ideal candidate will operate at all levels diving deep into architectural details while providing strategic inputs for our products. A typical day will range from writing and reviewing code to participating in product feedback sessions with directors and vice presidents.

The ideal candidate is passionate about new opportunities and has a strong track record of successfully leading and delivering new features/products. Creating reliable scalable and highperformance products requires exceptional technical expertise a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Salesforce and practical experience building scalable solutions. Key job responsibilities
Own key technical aspects of the Salesforce platform including Lightning Web Components and apex triggers
Responsible for developing in Apex Visualforce Lightning Java and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
Perform technical analysis levelofeffort estimation design development implementation of applications with necessary customizations and integration
Support across systems and related integrations native to the SFDC ecosystem
Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices guidelines to improve system productivity scaling and monitoring

You are building the tools that act as the backbone of a global highly influential and impactful organization. The products you create enable the Communications & Corporate Responsibility team to operate helping employees do everything from publishing company stories that reach millions of customers to storing sensitive information that needs to be easily and quickly accessed at the right moments.
As part of this mostly internalfacing org youll have a relatively predictable ops load and stable roadmap that allows for more time spent building new products than maintaining existing ones. Because of the high impact of the org youll also have frequent Director VP and STeam level exposure for the work you own.

The team youre joining is highly technical and ambitious and sits in an org thats broadly nontechnical. This means you have unique opportunities to look around corners on behalf of customers build rapidly and learn about Amazonian functions that arent common in other parts of the company.

Experience leading the design automation deployment and support of largescale infrastructure
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust
Experience with Linux/Unix
Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Experience with distributed systems at scale

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
