Job Description

The Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients. S/he carries out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice medical direction and hospital policies procedures and standards. Looking for daily challenges and endless learning opportunities Then maybe a career on the Birthing Suite is the opportunity you seek. On their 8bed LDRP unit they deliver over 350 babies annually. Candidate will be cross trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite. You will work alongside a well established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment and will assess plan organize supervise provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing Experience a MUST! AWHONN Required8 Bed UnitRatio 1:1 (active labor)1:2/3 for Mother/BabyNO OR/CSection knowledge required
