Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented HRIS & IT Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This dualfunction role bridges HR technology and IT systems supporting and enhancing our HR operations through efficient employee lifecycle system management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT onboarding/offboarding processes systems access control and handson experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and related platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

Employee Lifecycle System Management

  • Coordinate and execute ITrelated onboarding and offboarding processes including provisioning and deactivating user accounts system access and hardware setup in collaboration with IT and HR teams.
  • Set up and manage corporate email accounts aliases and mailbox permissions for new hires terminations and transfers.
  • Serve and manage as the owner of Microsoft Outlook and Teams distribution lists ensuring appropriate access updates and configurations across departments.
  • Maintain and audit employee access to HR payroll benefits and other enterprise systems to ensure proper security and compliance.
  • Manage user role configurations and troubleshoot access issues as needed.

HRIS Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform managing system updates user permissions workflows and data integrity.
  • Generate reports and analytics for HR and business leaders related to headcount turnover compliance and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to implement process improvements and HRIS enhancements.
  • Develop build and integrate HRIS processes to improve HR efficiency.
  • Audit HRIS data for accuracy and integrity.

Systems Integration & Support

  • Support the integration and data flow between HRIS and other systems (e.g. payroll time tracking applicant tracking systems LMS).
  • Provide technical support and training to HR team members and endusers on HR systems and tools.
  • Act as liaison between HR IT and external vendors for system troubleshooting upgrades and implementations.

Training & Special Projects

  • Assist in managing employee training programs including onboarding training and HRIS user guidance.
  • Participate in or lead ad hoc HR or ITrelated projects as assigned ensuring timely and effective delivery of outcomes.

Compliance and Security

  • Ensure systems access and data handling are compliant with internal policies HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of access controls and employee data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a combined HRIS and IT support role with direct involvement in employee onboarding/offboarding processes and systems access deactivation.
  • Proven experience administering and supporting HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday ADP UKG etc.).
  • Handson experience with email setup and administration using Microsoft 365 (Outlook Teams).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Active Directory and SSO/identity management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management and change management practices is a plus.
