The incumbent serves as the Part C/ Early Intervention (EI) Supervisor responsible for the daily supervision of Part C/EI Services and performs difficult professional and administrative work. Duties include coordinating and supervising clinical and case management activities supervising the work of staff within a program ensuring the quality of program services coordinating services with other divisions and community partners maintaining records and files preparing reports and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the assigned manager. Supervision is exercised over subordinate clinicians and personnel. Grade 16 or 18.

Essential Functions
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and local policies and procedures. Thorough knowledge of community resources and human services network; good knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical supervision; general knowledge of managed care systems; skill in maintaining medical records requirements (Part C Medicaid Licensure) and professional documentation; ability to supervise the work of others; ability to solve problems within scope of responsibility; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to prepare and present reports and program recommendations; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients subordinates associates law enforcement medical personnel community partners and the general public. Knowledge of early childhood development and factors contributing to developmental delays and/or disabilities. Knowledge of Part C providers community resources and strategies for assisting individuals /families in accessing them. Working knowledge of Part C funding sources usual and customary rates; and payer of last resort provision.
