Job: PreSales Solution Consultant (IT Networks & Security)

Location: West Dublin

Salary: Generous basic TBC

Type: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

We are working closely with a multiawardwinning technology solutions provider with headquarters in Dublin Ireland. The business has over 100 highly skilled fulltime staff with regional offices across Cork Galway Belfast and Edinburgh. As part of our continued growth and expansion we are actively looking to add a Presales Design Consultant to our growing team based in City West Dublin. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading technology solutions provider and to take ownership of prestigious clients servicing enterprise customers and best of class networks and infrastructure. The right candidate will join a highly skilled team and will work alongside some of the best engineering talent in Ireland to constantly up skill. There is an excellent career path on offer and the ideal candidate will be encouraged to constantly keep abreast of new technologies and certifications as required.

The Role:

We are ideally looking for someone with a strong technical pedigree looking to move into a more solution selling and technical presales customerfacing role. You will interact with prospective customers through executive meetings discovery conversations solution demonstrations executive presentations and followup discussions. You will provide value to prospects and customers through solutions thus supporting the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions aligned with Aruba Juniper or Cisco Vendor capabilities.
  • Lead technical presentations demos and proofofconcept (POC) sessions with clients.
  • Respond to technical sections of RFPs RFIs and proposals.
  • Assist in product positioning and competitive analysis during the sales cycle.
  • Liaise with vendor teams for solution validation and joint opportunities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends networking technologies and partner roadmaps.

Act as a bridge between sales engineering and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with client expectations.

Essential Skills & Experience;

  • 3 years in a presales solutions engineering or technical consultancy role.
  • Attention to detail with a view to translating customer business requirements into a technical solution
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP VLANs routing protocols (OSPF BGP) VPN and network security.
  • Experience with network design tools Visio diagrams and documentation best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both technical and commercial.
  • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels including CIOs IT Managers and technical teams.
  • Related degree along with vendor networking certifications.
