Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Hub Enablement Worker on a 1.5month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 12.85 16.61 per hour

Summary:

The Hub Enablement Worker delivers engaging and meaningful day opportunity activities and provides personal care and support to individuals within community hubs specialist services and in wider community settings. The role involves working directly with individuals to promote independence enhance wellbeing and support people in achieving personal outcomes while maintaining dignity and respect at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daytoday support including personal physical and emotional care in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Support individuals in managing risk and escalate any concerns or issues appropriately.
  • Assist in the development and review of care plans through active consultation with service users carers and professionals.
  • Deliver a range of activities and support services aligned with the services quality assurance framework.
  • Work on a onetoone basis or with groups both within the hub and out in the community.

Qualifications:

  • A professional care qualification or willingness to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and the Care Certificate.
  • Basic ICT proficiency.

Experience:

  • Experience working directly with adults either individually or in groups ideally within a care support or community setting.
  • Experience supporting individuals with personal care and complex needs or behaviours of concern.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
