Achieves sales and other targets established by business plans. Continuously assesses and improves the work processes for sales and service management risk management and compliance within prescribed limits to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. - Develops new business by contacting prospects and clients and by crossselling Bank products and services that include credit trust/investment and cash management. Participates and provides leadership in Bank and community activities to increase Banks brand visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.
- Applies deep expertise in bank products processes and systems and effectively trouble shooting to ensure a highquality client experience.
- Maintains existing relationships to achieve portfolio retention sales service and profitability objectives.
- Thorough knowledge of sales cycle from initial prospecting through closing allowing for development of business.
- Serves as a player/coach maintaining a portfolio of clients while managing a small team of TAs.
- Active participation in client reviews and ability to identify and pitch products and services needed.
- Sales target for assigned portfolio.
- Leads process improvement initiatives.
- Serves as a daily escalation resource to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Proven ability to mine assigned portfolio for additional deposits and revenue generating opportunities.
- Follows up after completion of implementations to ensure services have been implemented properly and pricing is accurate.
- Proven growth via active involvement in industry education and/or industry certifications.
- May advise business clients on cash management/deposits solutions.
- Advises clients where possible on business management and other financial matters.
- Develops and manages banking relationships plans for prospective clients.
- Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.
- Provides oversight monitoring and reporting specific to assigned business group for regulatory remediation.
- Responsible for formal coaching and mentoring to Treasury Advisors with less experience.
- Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
- Acts as the daily sales contact for the client for sales related questions such as product information pricing implementation timeframes and requirements.
- Acts as the key sales contact with the client to gather the required detailed information necessary to move the sale forward in the process including completing all necessary documentation.
- Provides assistance to the team in presales such as pitch preparation and client research and preparation of prospect and client files for action by the Sales Professional Planning.
- Tracks implementation requests to keep the process on track with timelines ensures accurate billing to clients.
- Tracks Internal reports and recommends improvements to sales support materials based on findings and feedback.
- Compiles precall and post call information packages by accessing internal systems and bank personnel to validate client holdings pricing and volumes.
- Provides research and data gathering to sales team to facilitate solution to the clients/prospects business and needs.
- Assists with sales and service administration and processing ensuring client experience is seamless and opportunities are identified and met.
- Maintains current client information on Bank system/files to ensure client history is accurate and complete.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader enterprisewide focus.
- Provides specialized consulting analytical and technical support.
- Exercises judgment to identify diagnose and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently and regularly handles nonroutine situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically between 5 7 years of relevant experience and postsecondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
