The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Otolaryngology is currently seeking a full time Predoctoral Scholar to work in Miami FL. The Predoctoral Scholar SOM participates in the daily activities of the laboratory with the purpose of facilitating the development of a highlevel research program
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepares experiment proposals with detailed rationale background data and proposed methods and organization.
Conducts laboratory experiments and studies and records ndings.
Maintains data les and conducts data analysis.
Drafts and publishes manuscripts and articles for peerreviewed journals.
Prepares and submits grant applications.
Designs executes interprets and integrates scientic data.
Maintains current knowledge of signicant developments in the eld.
Adheres to University and unitlevel policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelors degree in relevant eld required
Experience:
No prior experience required
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in collecting organizing and analyzing data.
Ability to recognize analyze and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to exercise sound judgement in making critical decisions.
