Job Description
Kona Medical Consulting is currently recruiting for Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
Our client is TIBS for Kids in Virginia is offering fulltime PRN and parttime positions for an SLPA at all locations in Virginia (Fredericksburg Woodbridge Springfield Manassas Herndon/Ashburn) locations. Pediatric experience is highly preferred but not required.
Below is the full job description of the position:
Job Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist this position assists in supplementing enhancing and extending speech/language therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as but not limited to direct activities with students designed to develop prelanguage and language skills oralmotor control for speech production vocalization and use of assistive technology devices for communication. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) serves children who have identified speech and language disorders and may have other disabilities as well. This is a 12month position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Communication Sciences
- Ability to Commute to the selected location
- Must have SLPA license/certification
Salary:
Hiring Range: ($35 $55.00/hour) based on experience availability and qualifications

Clinic setting:
Inperson private practice teamwork collaboration Pediatrics

Flexible schedule:
- full time or part time with flexible hours/days. Therapists decide the size of their own caseloads.
- 3 hour shift
- 5 to 6 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
