Job Description
Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities
Design implement and manage scalable secure and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Monitor and optimize cloud performance ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
Automate cloud operations using tools such as Azure DevOps ARM templates and PowerShell.
Manage and administer Azure resources including virtual machines storage accounts and networking components.
Implement and maintain security best practices including identity and access management encryption and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Stay uptodate with the latest Azure features services and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines Azure Storage Azure Networking and Azure Active Directory.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Application Insights.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Technical Skills
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
Knowledge of Azure Functions and serverless architecture.
Proficiency in using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Azure Policy for governance.
Understanding of Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB.
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and data integration services.
Experience with Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel for security management.
Knowledge of Azure API Management and microservices architecture.
Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and Azure Arc.

Work Hours and Flexibility
Standard work hours are 9 AM 5 PM Monday to Friday.
Flexible working hours and remote work options are available to accommodate worklife balance.
Occasional oncall duties may be to address urgent issues outside of regular hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Azure Administrator or Azure DevOps Engineer.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS Google Cloud) is a plus.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $120000 to $138000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
