Status:Hourly NonExempt
Compensation Range:$18.0020.00/hour commensurate with experience and education.
Age Requirements: Must be 18
Additional Requirements: Must have open availability weekdays and weekends.
Role Summary:
Ensure the spa and fitness center clean and maintains the luxurious atmosphere for all guests.
Daily Assignments:
May include but not limited to the following: cleaning all areas of the spa/fitness center sweeping mopping vacuuming. Maintaining sauna steam room and salon as well as treatment rooms. Emptying trash and replacing liners toilet paper Kleenex etc.
Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning all areas of the spa and fitness center
2. Handling different chemicals for specific areas
3. Maintains janitorial closet within the spa
4. Reports any deficiencies to engineering
5. Ensures all cleaning supplies are put away prior to spa opening
6. Takes inventory of special chemicals needed to maintain facility
7. Assist with spa laundry

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
1. Must be able to speak and understand English.
2. Basic reading writing and math skills
Experience
1. Must have janitorial laundry or housekeeping experience
2. Luxury hotel experience preferred
Skills
1. Ability to follow instruction
2. Able to work alone as well as being a team player
3. Good communication skills when interacting with guests and other employees
4. Ability works a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
5. Ability to pickup shifts on short notice
6. Must be honest and dependable and help maintain a positive work environment
7. Ability to work with little to no supervision while meeting high performance standards
8. Must possess good time management skills and able to work under pressure
9. Must be organized
Physical Requirements
1. Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and the ability to push/pull large weight objects more than 150 pounds
2. Standing for extended periods of time up to 8 hours.
3. Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain facility
4. Frequent bending stooping kneeling
