The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team partners with customers to design and build some of the most scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. AWS Solutions Architects collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
Your role as a Solutions Architects helps organizations understand best practices around advanced cloudbased solutions and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud. Youll help drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of enterprise customers through your passion for educating training designing and building cloud solutions.
As a trusted customer advocate you are responsible for guiding organizations in adopting advanced cloudbased solutions and migrating their workloads to the cloud. Youll be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to build mindshare and increase adoption of AWS. You should be able to interact and communicate effectively with various teams at AWS including services marketing and professional services while also representing your own team to executive management.
Travel is mostly regional expected to be 1520%.

2 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
4 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
2 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Experience communicating across technical and nontechnical audiences including executive level stakeholders or clients
Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
