Job Description
LPN Athens Family Practice
Job Type: fulltime Day Shift
As supervised and delegated by the manager provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Core competencies include but are not limited to the following:
Under the direction of the physician contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by the physician.
Performs plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given.
Assists physician with development of plan of care.
Monitors documents and communicates patients status and reactions to interventions with physician patient and families.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient.
