Operational Underwriting Assistant

This role would suit someone who is early in their insurance career or looking to transition into underwriting from a related field. Its ideal for individuals who have previously worked in roles such as claims advisor broker support or insurance administration and are ready to take a step into underwriting. If youre detailoriented enjoy working with data and thrive in a collaborative environment this could be a great fit. You might also be newly qualified in insurance or looking to build on your existing knowledge of property insurance.
A bit about the job:
Youll join our Corporate Property team within Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS). This role exists to support underwriters with renewals and new business. Youll help deliver excellent service to brokers and clients. Youll also contribute to our team strategy and business growth. We value collaboration and youll be a key team player.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in IT systems
Effective time and resource management
Awareness of property insurance
Ability to build positive relationships with brokers and clients

Starting salary 25100 (depending on location skills experience and qualifications)
