GFL Environmentalis looking for a Loader Operator for Edmonton AB!
The ideal candidate will operate facility forklifts and/or loaders to assist with material movement at the recycling facility. Youll perform daily pretrip and posttrips inspections and turn paperwork in to the Recycling Facility Manager on a daily basis.

Requirements:
Loader Operator Certification.
Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
The ability to work stat holidays and weekends if needed.
Class 1 CDL with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe work environment by following the guidelines set forth in the companys written safety program.
Performing pre and post inspections on all machinery that is being used during the shift and document any defective component to the Maintenance department.
Assist in the production such as dumping cages when needed moving containers and other jobs that require a forklift or loader.
Minimizing feed downtime by keeping material on the belts
Reporting after each shift the following statistical data: Actual time worked Loader or Forklift inspection sheets Manicuring bales before loading and Loading quality bales into outbound containers
Monitoring equipment forklift/Loader so necessary repairs can be made in a timely manner
Refilling oil and coolants as required to ensure the correct fluid levels
