Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
Completes psychosocial assessment for patients to understand their situation and be able to link them with the option of care that makes the most sense for the patients medical and social status.
Comforts patients providing emotional support to both the patient and their family to make the patient feel at ease enabling them to move through the organizations healthcare system providing support at all stages.
Serves patients with severe and persistent mental illness or patients with new psychiatric needs with care to give them the highest possibility chance of success within the organizations healthcare system.
Utilizes various counseling and therapy techniques to help place the patient and their family at ease with regards to clinical and medical work.
Performs other duties as assigned.
