Job Description
Are you interested in helping AWS customers by building MLdistributed systems to deploy Generative AI models for inferencing at scale SageMaker is a fully managed service to prepare data and build train and deploy machine learning (ML) models for any use case with fully managed infrastructure tools and workflows. Specifically the SageMaker Inference Platform enables customers to deploy ML models at scale to run high throughput lowlatency CPU/GPU/Inferentia workloads and monitor the quality of the models and data in production. The team is currently focused on solving core infrastructure problems for Generative AI inference serving needs of both internal and external customers. You will design implement test document and support crosscutting services to help customers do machine learning at scale. Youll assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications for robust scalable supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. You will serve as a key technical resource in the full development cycle from conception to delivery and maintenance. You will produce comprehensive usable software documentation; recommend changes in development maintenance and system standards. You will own delivery of entire piece of the system and serve as technical lead on complex projects using best practice engineering standards and hire/mentor junior development engineers. You will do everything from determining priorities and designing features to rearchitecture as necessary automated testing and mentoring others. The best candidates show true endtoend ownership.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
