Job Description

Join Amazons dynamic environment as a Supply Chain Manager with a Network Capacity Background where you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing various facets of our operations concentrating on optimizing and managing the flow of goods information or services within the supply chain network. We have exciting opportunities across different business units each seeking a skilled professional to lead strategic initiatives and drive process improvements with a specific focus on network capacity and the physical flow of goods or services within the supply chain network. As a Strategic Supply Chain Manager youll take endtoend ownership of operations emphasizing Inbound execution planning logistics optimization network design and analysis of operational efficiency.

In this role you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Business Operations Supply Chain Product Finance and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for operational improvements implement scalable systems and drive automation to enhance efficiency with a particular focus on optimizing the physical flow and operations within the supply chain network. Whether youre managing Inbound execution initiatives overseeing crossfunctional programs or focusing on strategic projects your impact will be visible ongoing and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customercentric company on earth.





Key job responsibilities
Lead both tactical and strategic initiatives related to Inbound execution within Amazons various business units.
Concentrate on optimizing and managing the flow of goods information or services within the supply chain network.
Balance supply and demand assess and improve the efficiency of distribution networks warehouses or logistics operations.
Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency in Inbound execution.
Define metrics develop program management mechanisms and invent/simplify processes to drive decisionmaking in complex Inbound execution situations.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared goals.
Manage crossfunctional Inbound execution initiatives ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.
Own a portfolio of crossfunctional programs related to Inbound execution driving performance improvement and efficiency in project delivery.
Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities in Inbound execution focusing on inventory management logistics strategy and transportation optimization.
Monitor and optimize key network capacity metrics to ensure the smooth flow of goods or services through the supply chain network.

A day in the life
The First Mile Short Term Capacity and Execution (FMSCE) team is a part of AMXL Supply Chain. We own AMXL fulfillment centers (FC) short term capacity (physical) fullness relief and Inbound execution across USA and Canada (CA). You will manage USA and CA Fulfillment Centers Inbound execution and provide relief solutions to execute Inbound operations seamlessly. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate cross functionally with Operations ACES Production Planning Team (PPT) Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Reverse Logistics Analytics and influence Senior Leadership on relief solutions.

About the team
The NA AMXL Supply Chain Execution team (SCE) plays the leading role in the growth and profitability of our network. We are responsible for calibrating our capacity to expected demand overseeing the health of our endtoend supply chain and making structural changes to our network. Over the last five years AMXL has become arguably the best Heavy Bulky fulfillment and delivery provider in the world with in terms of Delivery Estimate Accuracy costs and fewer customer contacts. Our NA network is currently supporting over $9B in gross merchandise sales (GMS) with expectations of doubledigit % growth over the next three years.



2 years of program or project management experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
Knowledge of SQL

Masters degree or equivalent
2 years of procurement purchasing supply chain related work in a procurement organization experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $106100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
