Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician 1 or Manufacturing Technician Level 2 based out of Clearfield UT.
What Youll get to Do: As a Manufacturing Technician you work on the next generation composite structures. This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup bonding assembly trimming and final finishing. It will require development of skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meet our customer expectations. Tasks may be in team environments or individual based.
This position will support our B shift (Mon Thurs 4/10 schedule) production.
This role can be filled at a Manufacturing Technician 1 or Principal Manufacturing Technician 2 depending on the qualifications below.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications for Level 1:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends
Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending stooping kneeling carrying tools lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
Available to work any shift
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends
Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending stooping and kneeling carrying tools lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Composite experience and/or certification
Previous composite manufacturing or production experience
Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints technical specifications and operating procedures
