About the role:
We are looking for a Disability Support Worker for a parttime opportunity for our group home in Hughesdale. You will be providing active support & engaging within 2 units 1 accommodating 2 independent male residents the other has 3 independent male residents. Our residents are aged between 47 and 60 and do present with behaviours of concern. Experience and care managing behaviours is preferred. Minimal manual handling requirements required as well. You will be required to participate in daily bus runs taking residents to and picking them up from day placements as well as actively supporting the gents on outings within the community. Shifts commence as early as 6.30am and end as late as 10.00pm and this roster includes 6 sleepover shifts per month.
