Intern Financial Analytics
Part Time 48 Hours Per Pay Period Day Shift

Position Summary:
Completes project work as assigned by a member of accounting staff to support objectives of the Health System.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates/performs projects as assigned providing progress reports as requested.
- Researches and analyzes accounting activities affecting Covenant Health operation making recommendations as appropriate.
- Prepares reports proposals etc. as requested.
- Performs various account analysis as assigned.
- Participates in community relation activities to support Health System objectives.
- Attends meetings/seminars to gain and share information regarding health system accounting and fiscal operations.
- Follows policies procedures and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Currently pursuing Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting or accounting related field.
Minimum Experience:
Class work relating to internship duties in the accounting/healthcare field. Some experience in a professional or healthcare setting beneficial.
