JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Manager of the Infusion Center the OAII performs a variety of patient care activities. These include monitoring vital signs phlebotomy and direct patient care to enhance the efficiency of the center. Frequent exposure to blood and body fluids communicable diseases and other conditions common to a clinical environment. Requires full range of body motion and lifting up to 30 pounds. Requires the use of general office equipment.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period with benefits)
Typical Hours: Day Shift
Education:
High school diploma or GEDrequired.
Certification & Licensures:
BLS certificationrequired.
Certification as Medical Assistant required by a nationally recognized credentialing organization preferred
Experience:
One year of experience in a clinical and clerical settingpreferred.
Knowledgeable in medical terminology.
Skilled in taking vital signs multitasking and being detail oriented.
Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients medical staff and the public.
