Job Summary:
We are seeking a personable and detailoriented Service Advisor to join our team. In this role you will act as the primary liaison between our customers and our service department ensuring an outstanding service experience. You will guide customers through the service process providing clear and honest recommendations while upholding the Acton Ford standard of quality and care.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Assess customer vehicle concerns and document service needs accurately.
  • Provide transparent estimates of repair and maintenance costs and timelines.
  • Effectively communicate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of work.
  • Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles and coordinate service updates.
  • Maintain knowledge of Ford service recommendations warranties and recalls to advise customers appropriately.
  • Recommend additional services where beneficial ensuring customer trust and satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate service records in compliance with dealership policies.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the automotive industry with at least two years as a service advisor in a dealership environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and service software (experience with Fordspecific platforms is a plus).
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
