As Manager Manufacturing Quality you will lead a team of talented quality professionals responsible for the quality assurance and control activities for a Kuiper satellite production facility. You will work with Engineering Operations and Supplier Quality teams to establish and operate quality system mechanisms that deliver highperformance satellites at unprecedented volume.
Key job responsibilities Own quality management system processes for Kuiper satellite manufacturing value stream Lead a team of Quality Engineers Inspectors and Technicians balancing responsibility for deploying proactive quality assurance mechanisms and production support within a ramping operation Coach and supervise quality engineers on rollout Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools Foster a culture of quality improvement and learning within Kuiper
A day in the life This role is a people manager and is a quality leader within Kuipers satellite manufacturing factories. This role must identify and solve problems within complex manufacturing value streams while coaching teams and developing mechanisms to consistently deliver highquality products.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical) or related discipline or equivalent experience. 7 years in highreliability manufacturing environments 5 years working with space or aviation hardware working with standard aerospace materials 5 years working under AS9100 or ISO9001 compliance or similar 5 years leading APQP and Root Cause Analysis for hardware failures across multiple disciplines (PCBA assembly avionics machining test) 5 years managing Quality/Manufacturing teams
GD&T ASME Y14.5 and machined part inspection processes IPC610 Class 3 compliant Electronics assembly and inspection processes
