JOB DESCRIPTION - ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) Per Diem - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - OB/GYN
The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty.
In consultation with other members of the health care team strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include clinical practice staff and patient education and research.
The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary
health care team in the inpatient outpatient and community settings.
Experience Required
Womens Health NP certification; Midwife certification; will consider PA with women health experience.
Education Requirements
Masters Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree is required.
License/Certification Requirements
New Jersey License: APN and RN or PA
American Heart Association BLS
Certification: NCCPA
Special Requirements
Scheduled Days / Hours: Per Diem as needed; varies
