Job Summary:
Nature of Work:
The Research Scientist is responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models deep learning architectures and statistical methods to address complex problems across various domains. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and optimize AIdriven solutions while contributing to cuttingedge research through publications in peerreviewed journals. The Research Scientist works with largescale datasets conducts experiments to validate hypotheses and refines algorithms for efficiency scalability and interpretability. The ideal candidate is expected to stay at the forefront of AI advancements integrate emerging technologies into research and contribute to the translation of AI innovations into realworld applications. An active participation in teams designing research projects and clinical trials as well as in report writing and publications is expected.

iC42 Clinical Research & Development is a cuttingedge bioanalytical resource and Service Center at the University of Colorado as well as a CU Medicine site of clinical practice. iC42 Clinical Research and Development provides clinical toxicology and therapeutic drug monitoring and carries out its own clinical trials in collaboration with the biotech/ pharmaceutics industry and academic collaborators. iC42 Clinical Research and Development has a CAP/CLIA accredited laboratory with 17 LCMS/MS systems a pharmacokinetics/ pharmacokinetic modeling group quality assurance unit and a clinical toxicology laboratory serves as a central laboratory for multicenter clinical trials and is set up to run clinical trials including design protocols coordination and conduct pharmacokinetics/ toxicokinetics statistical analysis and reporting.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$110000 to $120000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is nonexempt.
