Job Description
Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a complete multidiscipline CAD support for all projects.
Qualifications
Good general engineering knowledge.
- Proficient inAutoCAD and/or experience with other drawing / visualisation software; such as Vectorworks WYSIWYG and Sketchup.
- Background in live events along with product knowledge desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels with a diverse range of people.
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative.
- High level of planning and organising skills.
- Sets and expects high standards of performance.
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach required.
- Required to work as part of the team.
- High degree of personal integrity confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent IT skills with a comprehensive understanding of Windows based software such as MS Office.
- The ability to work to tight schedules.

- A keenness to learn new skills
- Experience or background in live events is desirable.
- Maintain a safe clean and hazardfree environment and understand and comply with the Companys Health and Safety policy.
- Ensure communications are clear and effective in order to facilitate cooperation and teamwork across the business.
Responsibilities
- Research produce and keep updated engineering CAD drawings.
- Ensure that all information contained within visualisations are correct and conforms to industry best practice.
- Maintaining CAD department visualisation systems hardware and software as required.
- Providing support to senior CAD Designer with projects as required.
- Working with the project management and asset strategy teams reviewing equipment availability and suggest alternatives in line with the technical specification required.
- Conversion of digital media content supplied by the customer to the required format.
- Ensure that the Companys policies rules procedures and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties.
