Develop critical thinkers in an outstanding school RE ECT opportunity in Barking!
Our outstanding school in Barking is seeking a dynamic and innovative RE ECT to join our team. You will play a key role in developing students analytical and philosophical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality RE lessons across Key Stages 34.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods including research and presentations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the RE curriculum.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Degree in Religious Studies Theology Philosophy or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of diverse religious and philosophical perspectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for fostering critical thinking and respect for different viewpoints.
