Begin your RE teaching journey in an exceptional setting!
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic RE ECT to join our thriving Humanities department in Barking. You will inspire students to explore diverse faiths ethical questions and philosophical concepts in an outstanding school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thoughtprovoking RE lessons across Key Stages 34.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for exploring beliefs and values.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Degree in Religious Studies Theology Philosophy or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of diverse religious and philosophical perspectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for fostering critical thinking and respect for different viewpoints.
