Job description
Job responsibilities include:
Overseeing the daytoday activities of the production staff of general assemblers SMT operators and electronic technicians to ensure all production related work is being completed efficiently and on time. Must have a working knowledge of excel word outlook cable/wire equipment SMT machines reflow ovens batch washers dryers coating and wave soldering machines and processes. AOI machine experience is a plus.
Needs to have a basic understanding of electronic circuits and components their specifications and be able to understand and identify drawings and bills of material.
Provide troubleshooting technical evaluation and process improvement support to operation technical and engineering teams.
Communicate production goals to employees and establish and communicate priorities.
Review quote/production documentation and provide labor estimates for cable board and box build assemblies.
Work with process engineer to create/maintain accurate production related records and procedures.
Communicate administer and ensure compliance of company policies attendance environmental issues and take appropriate actions when necessary.
Interface/work with others in the organization to ensure customer requirements are met.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
710 Years experience in an electronics manufacturing supervisory role with one or more companies. Electrical Engineer degree preferred.
IPC standards knowledge required.
Experience in electronics manufacturing required.
Knowledge of industry quality and ISO standards a must.
