What You Will Do The Sanitation Operator will be responsible for disinfecting surfaces sanitizing all components of our food production and processing equipment and ensuring that there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line.
How You Will Make an Impact
Disassemble clean sanitize and reassemble machine parts equipment and other areas
Monitor and adjust chemical cleaning usage
Work with the QA department on PreOp inspections
Assist in driving training initiatives of sanitation procedures to production
Remove waste and debris
Responsible for assisting in weekly environmental program and master Sanitation program
Assist with startup and shutdown of machinery and production line equipment
Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and SSOPs
Assure food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees
Follow safety procedures with lock out tag out and exposure to hot equipment and cleaning chemicals
Manually lift and transport unfinished product during production process
Required to work in a cold and wet environment w/temperatures of (approximately 40 F)
Required to work 12hr. shifts on a rotating 7day schedule
