Job Title: SAP Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
Genesis Consulting has an immediate need for an experienced SAP Project Manager to support a public sector client in their S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between the client and an established Systems Integrator (SI) ensuring project alignment stakeholder engagement and successful execution of internal responsibilities.
This is a key role requiring strong leadership SAP project expertise and handson experience with S/4HANA programs. You will manage internal teams track deliverables and challenge SI assumptions to keep the program on track and aligned with strategic business goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and manage the internal clientside project plan
Coordinate task execution across business leads IT and functional teams
Track and ensure timely completion of internal deliverables and dependencies
Facilitate regular internal status meetings and stakeholder updates
Monitor organizational readiness activities: data migration testing training cutover
Manage internal project risks issues and escalation processes
Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and the SAP Systems Integrator
Review and challenge SIprovided timelines assumptions and deliverables
Track action items and decisions from project and governance meetings
Support scope validation and change control processes
Ensure internal team preparedness for critical milestones (design signoff testing phases golive)
Maintain thorough documentation of risks issues decisions and lessons learned
Validate that delivered solutions meet business and operational requirements
Coordinate enduser engagement and feedback throughout the project lifecycle
Align project activities with broader transformation objectives and success metrics

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as a Project Manager on SAP S/4HANA implementations
Deep understanding of SAP methodologies and project lifecycle (design development testing deployment)
Strong organizational leadership and communication skills
Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage diverse stakeholders
Skilled in risk management issue resolution and change control
Capable of working collaboratively with Systems Integrators and challenging them when appropriate
Experience with enterpriselevel ERP programs and digital transformation projects
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor s Degree in Project Management Information Technology or another related field.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
SAP or S/4HANA Certifications preferred.
OTHER:
Ability to work on a W2 salaried basis.
Willingness to be onsite in Seattle WA at least 2 weeks per month.
