Job Description
The Deputy Chief Flight Instructor (Gloucester) is responsible to the Chief Flight Instructor on a daily basis for the single pilot flight and synthetic flight training conducted at the Gloucester Approved Training Location.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Chief Flight Instructor with their responsibilities as and when requested by them
- Attending the internal training meetings
- Ensuring that their flying qualifications are current
- Acting as an instructor and/or examiner when required dependant upon availability
- Conducting administration and other duties that directly support the role of the CFI
Qualifications :
- Hold a current UK CAA and if required EASA CPL or ATPL.
- Hold a current UK CAA and if required EASA Class 1 medical.
- Hold a current UK CAA unrestricted Flight Instructor Certificate with CPL Multi engine and instrument instructional privileges. EASA equivalent either native or FCL.900(c) would be beneficial and may need to be obtained.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal to motivate and encourage staff to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels.
- Demonstrable record of leadership in a management role.
- Extensive experience in training as an instructor for professional pilots license.
- No aircraft accident or aviation violation convictions.
- Ability to concentrate and work in a fastpaced environment.

Full Time 40 hours MondayFriday.
