Supports resort operations by performing basic HVAC tasks including projects preventive maintenance and work orders.

As a Trades I HVAC you will
- Perform engineering projects guest calls blitzes and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
- Execute daily tasks and assigned HVAC projects while supporting other trades as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance on split systems PTAC units condensers and air handlers.
- Install or replace HVAC components such as condensers thermostats fan motors and minor components.
- Read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals effectively.
- Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available onsite.
- Operate resort operations software and devices effectively (HotSOS).
- Communicate professionally through radios phones emails and verbal interactions.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.
- Safely use hand tools power tools and batterypowered tools required for HVAC work.
- Work using ladders scaffolding lifts dust masks and in confined or narrow spaces.
- Follow safety guidelines and practices.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards on the property.
- Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution.
- Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.
- Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance attire and behavior.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
Qualifications :
- Technical certification or HVAC license preferred.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Minimum of 1 year of handson experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment.
- Must be detailoriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must lift move push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to adapt to various tasks perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
